Award winning meals using the finest local produce will guarantee memorable evenings.

  • Overview:
This ride utilizes the famous Australian stock horse. Known for versatility, endurance, agility and good temperament these horses are a joy to ride. The roots of the Australian stock horse date back to the arrival of the First Fleet in Australia in 1788. Some of the original breeds in these early imports included the Thoroughbred, Arabian, descendents of the Spanish barb, Timor pony and the Welsh mountain pony. In the 1830s, additional Thoroughbreds were imported into Australia to improve the local strains, and the American quarter horse bloodlines were introduced in the mid 20th century. Depending on your experience and the horse being ridden, guests have a choice of Australian stock saddles or English saddles. Snaffle bridles are used and horses are trained to direct rein and neck rein.
